A hidden gem in the heart of the City, All Souls Chapel combines faith, art and architectural splendor inside its beautiful sandstone walls. Built in 1888, by a number of well-known artisans in the City, it was a design by prominent architect, William Critchlow Harris.
His brother, the famous artist, Robert Harris painted no less than 15 murals depicting biblical scenes. Stop in sometime and look closely within each painting and you will find the faces of St Peter’s Cathedral’s parishioners of the day.
All Souls Chapel was designated as a National Historic Site on 23 February 1990.
