Dundas Terrace is designated for being a fine example of a Queen Anne styled apartment building from the late 19th century.

Designed by prominent architect, WC Harris and built by well-known businessman, Owen Connolly’s estate, the building was named for the nearby promenade – Dundas Esplanade.

Dundas Terrace was designated a National Historic Site 16 November 1990.
