Charlottetown’s oldest golf course, and perhaps the first golf course on the Island, was built on part of the old “Belvidere” estate in 1903. Prior to this, the group responsible for the golf course was meeting on the infield of the Charlottetown Driving Park and using the Judges’ Stand as its clubhouse. The image shows the Spring Garden Creek gully and the Hillsborough River in the distance.
