Picturing A City: The Railroad

In April and May 2017, the Railroad and its impact on the City of Charlottetown was celebrated in an exhibit entitled Picturing a City: The Railroad. The Rail’s impact on the City of Charlottetown was enormous. It led to the Province’s entry into Confederation, was a huge employer and allowed for the transportation of people and goods at a speed and efficiency that had never been seen.
