Gaelyne (Craig) Gabora (1931-2001), Soprano

Although not born in the Island, Gaelyne Gabora lived here and trained at Notre Dame Academy (Notre Dame Convent – 246 Sydney St.). According to an undated newspaper article, her “career began with the PEI Music Festival”. She would go on to train in London and Vienna. After her debut in Vienna, she would go on to perform and teach all over the world.
